Informal letter

Hi Matt, In your letter you asked me to recommend a good film. I'd like to suggest you the best movie i've recently watched. It's name is - Ratatoulle. The film is about a little rat, that loses its home with the whole family . Lonely on the city streets, he faces plenty problems, the real world seems too evil for such a tiny animal, very unliked by humans, but soon he finds his new friends, and with help of his two-legged friend becomes the best chief of the restaurant. Animation is great, what to say more about the wonderful french soundtreck of the movie. . Inspiring, warm, exciting, fascinating, I recommend it to you as it is super. Waiting for your reply! See you, Tim

Many people are searching for a real working place in circus, so is it a good way to earn a living or just an entertainment? To begin with, there are a lot of things that you can do in circus, talking about professions, exept perfoming on stage, you can work in techical and show support as a technical producter or operator, or in corporate services as a financist or event manager, you have such a great chances to find your place, no doubt - this is a great advantage. Secondly, circus is a great way to be strong and active(if you're a circus performer). All of the physical exercises and tricks that you learn for the perfomances will keep you fit and make you feel really healthy. On the other hand, your career can make you feel even worse. Unfortunately, we can't make no mistakes, that's why proffesional injuries can also occur any time, you'll have to take some time for reabilitation, but after all, you'll feel OK, as always. Moreover, the time of your circus

Festivals

1. India Holy Festival - annual indian festival of spring and bright colours. Actually, there is no exact date of the beginning, because it depends on phase of the moon, that's why, it can be changed every year. (Usually- it's celebrating in the end of the February) 2. Spanish tomatina festival. Every year at Bungol it takes a place as a very weird and exciting festival, where the only goal is - to throw tomatoes everywhere! About 30.000 come, while very population of the town is only 9.000. Plenty trucks transport tonns of tomatoes to the city centre, and the fun begins!!! After all, the town is about to be cleaned by the hundreds of water engines, cleaning all of the tomato leavings! 3. Boryeong mud festival. Quite like the previous one..  Asians love weird things, yeah? That's how they do this unusual festival. The first was celebrated at 1998, and became as popular, that in 2006, 1.500000 guests were there! Special mud is bought near the city, and then it is fr

Nowadays, many people may face a lot of problems with stress and low self-esteem. I'd like to tell you more about the ways of solving it with help of special techniques and methods. To begin with, stress is the feeling of being under emotional pressure and is the body's way of attempting to deal with tough situation. By the way, a reasonable amount of stress is good for the body. It keeps us on toes and improves our performance. One of the best ways to minimize stress is by doing moderate exercises. So, take time to relax…- But instead of slouching on a couch, why don’t you get out there and make yourself feel good? It’s easy! You're worth it! It's not surprisingly that 78% of the teenagers interviewed said that school was the main source of their stress. So what can be done to prevent it?  Sport can be a great confidence builder, specially, when we do chaos training class! Wacky workout - is the real challenge to your mind and body, where there is no order between ex

Report

The aim of this report is to suggest ways of improving Welsh children's hospital.   The geographical location of the hospital and the ecological issues are in need of being solved. Firstly, I would recommend that the hospital be rebuilt in a more fresh and comfortable place, on the seaside, as for the example. Secondly, I strongly suggest that TVs  and free Wi-Fi be installed in areas such as  the cafe and gym.    Furthermore, the hospital walking area is not enough , for the majority of the children, so I would suggest to expand it, as to make it more exciting to walk around the territory , g row more flowers and plant more trees , to make free forest atmosphere.      The hospital is not very well-known in the community. For this reason, I am suggesting an open day. This will let people know more about your hospital, and if they like it, others are also can be interested.   All in all,the new geo-location and improved décor & facilities would certainly make hospital mo

Opinion Essay

It is said the government should spend more money on sports equipment for schools. I strongly support that opinion! To begin with, we can't live with no sports in our life. By the way - school time is the most necessary for your own personality, this time you start your own lifestyle. That is the time to start your sport life. What is more, sport can even be your best friend for the whole lifeline.  It can be your profession, your passion, your life. On the other hand, some pays sport too much attention, so they don't think about schools, friends, and so on.. All in all, sport is good when you know how to do everything at the same time!

Final topic (2 module)

Who knows how much time does it take us to get use to the moden life with all of these modern technologies and what is the future that is waiting for us? These are some of scientifical breakthroughs and innovations that soon can become the part of our ordinary life. To begin with, maybe this makes your stomach churn, but some food scientists are hoping that insects will become a common sight at our dinner tables at the future. The idea of eating insects certainly isn't new or unusual. What's more, insects are eaten today in four fiths of countries around the world. The fact is, the food we eat is largely influented by culture. Moreover, amazingly that we eat half a kilo of insects each year as insect contamination is often unavoidable when manufacturing foods. At total, it seems that dishes such us scorpion soup will start appearing on menus sooner than we think! Science fiction has always shown us impossible.. Until now, though, this was all a world of imagination, b

Opinion essay

It is said that all young people should take part in sport, and I strongly support this opinion. To begin with, it is the way they make their life more exciting and active. As example, basketball, football, water polo and other team games are very funny for the most of young people. Unfortunately, here is a problem, some people don't even think about playing real games outside, they'd better prefer playing virtual games at home than with real friends on the street.. What is more, sport builds your body and strengthen your mind. It's your choice to be healthy and strong or to be seak and weak. On the other hand, for someone it can be even more harmful to do sport than not to do it. Some pays it too much attention so they forget about everything exept sport like school or home responsibilities. All in all, sport is a necessary thing in each peson's life, specially talking about young people. The only moment is that you need to be more organised with our time.

1. You know, school is my passion. School is when you wake up at the early morning with the wide smile on your face, as the time goes, that smile becomes wider and more and more positive. My school - is my lifestyle, I am proud of myself, cause I am a pupil, I am a pupil of Russian-British "7 keys" school, the name itself tells you about everything. Every holy morning, I enter the hall of knowledge - our classoom, to pronounce two incredible words - "H" and "I" to let the sounds of this majesticall word get to every ear of my classmates, this is how it feels like!(school) 2. Do you believe in miracles. I do, because i eat potato! Every time as it's skin goes down from the knife and the smell hits my nose I fall in love with that godlike vegetable of gods.. When it appears on the plate, what could I do if i wouldn't eat it immediately, if I didn't , I would die because of the flood in my mouth, I look on the golden pieces are cooling down on

Letter

Dear Tracey, Feel sorry for I wasn't in touch for so long. I've heard you've just moved into a new flat in the city centre, sounds great, next time i would like to recieve some more news about that. Now, finally about myself. Now I live in a townhouse. I like neighborhood more than living in = loneliness. You live with people who can help you whatever happens - the biggest pro. To my mind living in a small village, with all of the modern conveniences is a more comfortable way. Buy the way, where do you better prefer to live, in a village or in a city, who will be with you, and why ? Best wishes, Tim.

For and against essay

Living in in a city centre has it's own pluses and minuses. Let's see it under the microscope. There are actually many good reasons why it can be super good to you. Firstly, the strongest "for" advantages. Most of the city centres are located close to your living place, and it can really help you to save your time for a daily things you have to do(working, shopping, car washing and all the other things of that kind), so you don't lose it while sitting in the car for some hours on the way to the city (if you live a bit further). On the other hand, there can be plenty of disadvantages to living in a centre. To begin with, rent expenses can be extremely high, flats are often have little privacy and storage place, so life can be not so comfortable there. Furthermore, 24hours per 7 days it can be noisy and don't matter where you are, these are unstopable cars outside, or "every day celebrating" neighbours, anything can get you out of your mind. All

Describing article

I lya and I are friends, I first got to know him after we met at a holiday camp and totally we have been good friends ever since. We were classmates, before Ilia has gone to Sochi, so our age is almost same. Despite making a compliment, in his late fourteens he looks pretty attractive..( ♥ ♥ ♥ )He's a bit taller than me, he has a warm smile and dark brown eyes that becomes partly insvisible when he laughs or jokes, as if he was Japanese or Chinese traveller.. He also has a great feel of the music and grows a lot in it. Ilya has a strange, great at the same time "open-closed" personality. To my mind, he's  a sociable person, who loves being "connected" to the interesting community, and just like a perfect puzzle square perfectly supports to any picture. I find Ilyas very organised and patient person, he would  never said a word without thinking about it, and i know, when Ilya tells me what he's about to do , he definately does it, so he's my kindhe

Final 5 module topic.

Lifelong learning W hat lifelong learning is really like? W hy do we study? W hat for? W hat is the purpose? S ome of us have answered these questions already - we learn, we study, we revise over and over again to be clever and educated, to be aware of how to solve the problem we have, to become the complete human, and so on. P lenty oceans of knowledge are surrounding us, our choice - to dive into a few (some) of them to compare feelings, to know where and how do we feel ourselves better. P eople differently make desicions during their lifetime, they want to try themselves everywhere. T hese are the stories of those, who'd found himself and who still searchs for. A ll of us are able to get used to any conditions, that's what exactly motivate, lead us to the action. S alman Khan, a Harward University graduate is studying for a lecture he's going to give, it'll take place on YouTube, it won't last for more than ten minutes, and it will reach a potentioal audienc

Teaching and learning online

Should all teaching and learning take place online now?  Isn't it amazing that nowadays we can study right at home, with no books or school supplies. Without a doubt, it makes us feel pretty comfortable, studying with help of computer systems is a quite simple thing, but could it ever supersede the (school) real educational process?  So what is the main argument against? Many people, including me, are against of online education because of it's form, "you and the teacher" To my mind it makes you becoming further in society. School, for the great part of the students who study on 3, on 4 is also a place where they learn  what life is about, every day, they solve their real life problems, they communicate , play the team games such as basketball or football, they struggle to get use to the thick timetable, so after school, it might be easier for some of them to see the things different, to connect to the real life way.  Certainly there are many arguments in favo

Still a mystery. Final topic (module 4)

Let me tell you a story based on a real facts. Some of them are currently not proved, some of them are still remain a mystery. Could a T-rex really walk the Earth again? Well dinosaurs were roaming the Earth over 65 million years ago and dinosaur DNA doesn't last that long, even in teeth or bones. Jack Horner, a world famous palaentologist ar Montana State University, however, disagrees. "Of course we can bring them to life," he says "the science is there." In fact, in 2003, his team made a breakthrough that amazed scientists, one of Jack's students have found an organic material. So does it mean that we will be sharing Earth with cloned T-rexes in the future? Jack believes it's possible, but a complete genetic map of a dinosaur would have to be worked out first and that might take decades.. Jack isn't the only one following this line of research. At McGill University in Canada, Hans Larsson has conducted experiements into reactiving dinosaur DNA

Final topic. Doing the right thing . (3 module)

Have you ever wondered about the life in someone else's shoes? Imagine then, how it might be felt if you're a homeless or elderly. So,  to find out what it's really like, one reporter went undercover as an eighty-year-old woman. After they turned 25-year-old girl into an elderly lady with help of layers of prosthetic make-up and a shabby coat, transformation was complete - it looked very convincing. Let's get it started in a shopping centre. When she got to her favourite make-up counter, where the assistant usually laughs and jokes with her, she looked as if she couldn't wait to get rid of her. After in a music shop, her request for some CDs was met with laughter from sales assistants who couldn't believe an 80-year-old was interested in the latest chart hits. She felt incredibly embarassed and lonely. And the only one person, invisible by society seemed to want to chat with her. I am not telling you have to help everyone around, no, simply, one day, it could

1.While Joseph was training with monks he learnt about how to build character and humility through hardship and discipline, and that is exactly what he has experienced, as he said. 2. He left the academy with a new inner strength and determined to work hard to achieve goals in his life. That's about how could it help him, afterwards. To be a bit more honest, he had ran away to take a hot shower, to have a relaxing sleep.

A book review.

"Tobie Lolness" is a(n) (adventure) gripping fantasy novel, written by Timothee de Fombelle. The book tells the story of the (little) boy who saved his huge tiny (tree) world. The story begins with a description of an extra-ordinary finding and science breakthroughs Tobie's dad has reached, that exactly became a reason of their fate has been changed forever. The main character grows up far away from his childhood friends, from places where he was born. A time after he has lost his family, Tobie takes the road of revenge, goes in search of true friends and struggles desperately to find his parents. The book's plot is guaranteed to keep readers absorbed to the very end. It is full of thrilling moments making you forget about the time and reality, the main characters are well developed and believable, what really supplements the atmosphere inside. (the book|picture) My own "50 books to read before you die" list doubtlessly starts with it. It is certainly wo

Each year the UFO festival in Roswell attracts thousands of visitors. This year, i will travel there with one of journalists - Ruth Bradley to take part in a new UFO Discovery tour. We met a friendly guide and the other part of our enthusiastic group. First day we've reached a hotel and  I felt it might be a great experience. The following morning we were taken to the first spot, where we found out what lies in the huge hole made by a UFO spacecraft. The next spot - the huge aircraft hangar on the old army base where the remaims of the strange craft were taken to be examined. Eye-witness accounts later said the craft as unlike anything that had ever been seen on Earth. The day ended with a visit to the UFO Museum and I was fascinated by some creepy sketches of alien bodies in autopsy tables which were drawn by a nurse working in the base hospital at the time. The night, we camped out in Nevada desert's UFO hotspots, I heard a story about an alien spacecraft spoted above the su
