Travelling is a great opportunity for people to see the world. But what places really worth visiting and why?
The first place I'm about to describe is in fact the most remote and biologically varied place in the world.The Madagascar Island. This island is considered the
biologist's truly dream. An estimated 80% of creatures can be found nowhere
else on Earth. Fascinating deciduous
forests, mangrove swamps sitting on towering, jagged limestone rocks. There are bird,
reptile, lemur and frog species that can be observed in the park. The aye-aye, the world's largest
nocturnal primate lives there too.
Not only the nature conserves the beauty of our planet. Human uses the nature to create something new, never existing before. This human-made majestic construction is what also worths your attention.
The world's most famous acropolis - The Acropolis of Athens, is a flat topped rock in the middle of the city, rising 150 metres above sea level. It has several famous buildings on top of its summit, the most notable being the Pathenon, a temple erected in the 6th century BC to honour the Greek goddes Athena. The Acropolis is a magnificent site, a true testament to the glory that was Ancient Greece.
Although, travelling is becoming more and more widespread among the people nowadays, not all know about the Eco-torism, which offers enjoying.your holiday destination without spoiling it.
As an eco-tourist, you can help by booking your holiday with a responsible company and proving respect for local customs when you arrive. Places that make money for locals have a better likelihood of being protected, so remember to visit local restaurants and markets during your holiday. In this way, you can discover new places and learn about different cultures while helping to protect the world's disappearing ecosystems.
Overall, there are so many places that you should see on Earth. Travelling makes people happy, but people should also care about the nature.
