According to wikipedia, homeschooling, also known as home education is the education of children inside the home, which is conducted by a parent or tutor, with the varying level of education formality. While for some it may seem to be mostly ineffective, I still consider such education's advantages overweigh the ones of the ordinary one significantly, what has been already proved factually.
To begin with, what should be undoubtedly listed as one of the greatest advantages of such a studying method is that your children are kept in touch as proximity remains for the most of the time a day. What that means is that as a parent you may be absolutely confident in a safety of your child.
Another positive point would be that the homeschooling environment allows children to progress at their own pace until they have mastered the necessary materials. By thinking globally, homeschooling to my mind is also what brings us closer to the ideal structure of education, in which the main factors would be childrens' own motivation and interests, in which they would study in order to find and reveal their talents in the highest degree.
Thirdly, the development of curiosity from the early age will teach children how to learn by themselves, what will be useful the whole lifetime. In other words, by focusing on whatever the most exciting topics of home-educating students are, children get used to acquiring knowledge of the subjects that are most interesting for them.
On the other hands, children being home-educated are believed to be less socialized than ordinary schoolers. Nevertheless, my vision is that while being taught at home, children may also have lots of free time to spend with their friends, but it depends majorly on parents.
Overall, I personally think that homeschooling is what makes studying more productive and joyful activity at the same time. Though, still much depends on child's parents.
