Essay. Time management and leisure activities
Time-management
is what the considerable amount of people call “slippery subject”, while for
others time-management is something which is able to change their life
completely. In the next paragraph I am presenting the information on what are
the most popular ways of spending time among teenagers and also how to organize
time better as well.
To begin
with, it is not surprising that watching TV and social networking are
permanently at the peak of the list how teenagers spend their leisure time most
frequently, though I believe that social networking has become an integral part
of our everyday life. Except social media, teenagers enjoy doing sport,
attending drama clubs, listening to music and a variety of other
extracurricular activities, such as dancing, or singing. Talking of leisure
time spent by adults, something ‘historical’ may be observed as well. Going to
the pub still remains the most popular activity of British outside their home,
with the only thing changed which is that not only drinks are served in pubs
but also plain meals. What that means is that pub plays a role of both
restaurant and bar simultaneously.
When it
comes to the methods of changing your own life, I would like to advise you to
prioritize your daily affairs and also think a bit of what exact things would
make it a great year for you professionally, or in your private life. That is
what will help you to set new priorities.
To conclude
everything here is what was once said by Laura Vanderkam, during her TED speech
on time-management. ‘We don’t build the lives we want by saving time. We build
the lives we want, and then time saves itself.’ Truly.
