Signs
To begin with here is the question: how do we understand each other?
Giving an answer to the question above, I make
a reference to Mark
Evans, who is the specialist of non-verbal communications. He says that human
body gives more reliable information than the words we speak. He also recognizes
the involuntary signs of lies.
Apart from facial expressions and postures there is another
international universal language – music, which brings people together.
“WOMAD” or “Global
Village” is the famous festival of arts, music and dance. Describing it more in details, the festival clarifies that music
breaks down language barriers. The idea of WOMAD festival is the brainchild of
Peter Gabriel.
When it comes to our less mentally developed
neighbors, each
species of animals also use its own unique way of communications.
For instance, scents are essential among ants. Body color is
significant for either attracting or warding off other animals. Touches may mean
a lot for horses, giraffes and apes, whereas whales, dolphins, elephants and
birds use sounds for communication.
To conclude
I’d like to say that we should be more attentive towards each other.
