Let me tell you a story based on a real facts. Some of them are currently not proved, some of them are still remain a mystery. Could a T-rex really walk the Earth again? Well dinosaurs were roaming the Earth over 65 million years ago and dinosaur DNA doesn't last that long, even in teeth or bones. Jack Horner, a world famous palaentologist ar Montana State University, however, disagrees. "Of course we can bring them to life," he says "the science is there." In fact, in 2003, his team made a breakthrough that amazed scientists, one of Jack's students have found an organic material. So does it mean that we will be sharing Earth with cloned T-rexes in the future? Jack believes it's possible, but a complete genetic map of a dinosaur would have to be worked out first and that might take decades.. Jack isn't the only one following this line of research. At McGill University in Canada, Hans Larsson has conducted experiements into reactiving dinosaur DNA ...
Lifelong learning W hat lifelong learning is really like? W hy do we study? W hat for? W hat is the purpose? S ome of us have answered these questions already - we learn, we study, we revise over and over again to be clever and educated, to be aware of how to solve the problem we have, to become the complete human, and so on. P lenty oceans of knowledge are surrounding us, our choice - to dive into a few (some) of them to compare feelings, to know where and how do we feel ourselves better. P eople differently make desicions during their lifetime, they want to try themselves everywhere. T hese are the stories of those, who'd found himself and who still searchs for. A ll of us are able to get used to any conditions, that's what exactly motivate, lead us to the action. S alman Khan, a Harward University graduate is studying for a lecture he's going to give, it'll take place on YouTube, it won't last for more than ten minutes, and it will reach a potentioal audienc...
Nowadays some people are worried about schools killing children’s creativity. Let us firstly know more about the definition of creativity and also about the way schools diminish and develop creativity. Creativity is the tool for the self-realization. If you ask me I wouldn’t say schools kill creativity. Undoubtedly schools spread people’s and governmental opinions (/ideology) , some parts of what should be filtered. Though schools give basic knowledge - wh...
